A Blues Classic; written
by Willie Dixon, recorded by
Muddy Waters, released by Chess
Records in 1956.
Covered by
The Doors in 1971, the "B" side of
Love Her
Madly, and was sung by Ray Manzarek.
As always, critiques of the performances and mix/master
would be much appreciated...

This was the second tune I sequenced in Cakewalk (that's
Cakewalk Professional 3.0) in the mid 90's.
The drum track was pretty basic back then, I hope I've
"dressed" it up a bit. The piano is where my
"chops" were in those days. Play it, "fix" it; try
not to quantize it to death. Played the bass on the keys.
The vocal is a bit "pitchier", but that's where we're at
today. The 90's guitars had the effects "baked" in,
and I wanted to "dust" them off anyway; what's the point of
revisiting, if not to "polish" it up.
Thanks for listening!
